Death has come once again,
Taking pieces of me,
Goodbye for now, dear friend,
Awake in Victory!
Go live, go live,
Live with the King,
Go on and sing,
Go live, go live.
Laughter and smiles remain,
Precious pieces of me,
But those gone to the grave,
Are memories I grieve.
They live, they live,
As part of me,
Each day I breathe,
They live, they live.
When the casket closes,
Over pieces of me,
Recall with your voices,
We will rise to the King,
Go live, go live,
Live for the King,
Go on and sing,
Go live, go live.
Go live, go live,
Live for the King,
Go live, go live,
Live for the King.
Behind the lines
Dedicated to Harvey “Junior” Beavers, 69, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013.
Bro. Tim,
David said that ‘there is but a step between me and death. I Sam. 20: 3. Each time we have a loved one taken home to be with the Lord, we lose all but the cherished memories that we are left with. We learned just how small or how brief that step can be when we lost my granddaughter at 7 yr. old. Let’s be sure that what we have with those loved ones are memories that we can cherish and show them nothing but love while we have them.

Yes, and we grieve but not as if we have no hope. Our hope is in Christ (1 Thess 4:13-14).
