Thank you for visiting GraceSyllables.

This site is for the creative worship and praise of the Lord Jesus Christ, and for “giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” The posts are about His Word, His attributes, His creation, His life, His death, His resurrection, His grace, His mercy, His people, His gospel, His salvation, and His glory (all for His glory).

16) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. (17) And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:16-17 ESV)

Scripture Meditations

These reflections are comments on select passages and topics written by my dad, W. F. Bell (1948-2018). They have been collected from his various writings, previously published, or submitted electronically over the years to friends and family. I’m posting them in order to preserve his legacy of sovereign grace teaching. I hope they will bring much encouragement to you, while giving great glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Picture Post photos are from my camera phone and posted with the goal of capturing the created world to make us pause and celebrate the Creator. I believe nature is God’s gallery which gives us glimpses of His glory.

Many blog header images are free public stock photos from either https://pixabay.com/ or https://www.pexels.com/.

About me

I am happily married to Amy (who is lovely inside and out) and God has blessed us with four wonderful children. I enjoy writing, poetry, photography, theology, reading, gardening, day hiking, holding hands with my wife, and family activities.
