Who can tell of all your deeds
Who can declare all your praise
Who can know all that you know
Who can love like you, O Lord

Your ways are higher than our ways
Holy, full of grace
Your wrath and mercy coexist
Perfect love in justice
You came to die so we might live
Paid it all, gave yourself
We praise your name, Most High
You are Higher

You comfort us in our distress
You never break your promises
You are more than we can receive
We’ll learn from you eternally

It’s undeniable
Your thoughts are beyond us all
Your greatness cheers our soul

Behind the lines

Who can utter the mighty deeds of the LORDor declare all his praise?
Psalm 106:2

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:9

There is a Future

Verse 1
Wait, wait, don’t worry yourself
Be still and bring it to the Lord
For He will give you the grace you need
And the strength to endure

There is a future, there is a plan
Written by a Sovereign hand
Drawn up before time began
And when you’re feeling down and everything’s bad
There’s a coming King and a promised land
A new heaven and earth beyond your dreams
Where no one’s sad and death has lost its sting
There is a future

Verse 2
Know, know, your steps have been secured
Salvation belongs to the Lord
For He holds the number of your days
And knows what each one’s for

Delight yourself in the Lord
It’s only a little while more
Commit your way to the Lord
It’s only a little while more
And place your hope in the Lord
It’s only a little while more
Until heaven and earth are restored

Psalm 37

Every New Glimpse of You

Lord, open wide our darkened eyes
Awaken us to the truth
For in Your light we see more light
With every new glimpse of you

And stop the sound that keeps us bound
Old lies whispered to our hearts
Lord, remove the sin deep within
With every new glimpse of you

Lift the mist, let the mountains speak
Break the clouds, let the sunshine through
Restore our sight, wipe the mud from our eyes
With every new glimpse of you
Let our hearts be stirred through your Word
With every new glimpse of you

The heavens declare you’re right there
Telling the world who you are
Through all these clues there’s no excuse
With every new glimpse of you

No, we’re never far from where you are
You’re our refuge and our strength
Redeemed from the night, hidden by light
In the shadow of your wings

Psalm 36
“For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light do we see light.”

No One Greater

Great are You, LORD
And greatly to be praised
You sit above the heavens
And You search all my ways

You tell my soul
You are my salvation
You reveal Your sacrifice
And how You crush satan

For there is no one greater
All-Powerful Creator
My Defender, Sustainer
There is no One like You
For You are my Savior
Your strength never waivers
And there is no one greater
No one greater than You

My enemies
They come to hurt and to blame
But You defend my soul
And You put them to shame

You’re my delight
My joy evermore
And my tongue can’t help but sing
Great are You, LORD!

Psalm 35 with a few lines from Psalm 48.

We come to bless the God of Glory
You are the One without years
We tell the world Your gospel story
How You freed us from our fears

For You took us from sin and darkness
And led us into Your light
You gave us grace and bought forgiveness
By Your resurrection might

Yes, You are near the brokenhearted
You have a plan and will see it through
Yes, You are for us and won’t forsake us
And all Your promises are true
So we magnify You
Yes, we magnify You
May all that we do, magnify…
Magnify You

Oh, hear the sound of our humble tongues
Crying out to You once more
Let Your heart receive what’s being sung
As we rejoice in Your Word

If you weren’t being magnified
Surely the rocks would cry
If you weren’t being magnified
Surely the rocks would cry
If you weren’t being magnified
Surely the rocks would cry
We’ve come to magnify

Psalm 34

Because You Loved Us First

Verse 1
To the God who loved us first
We praise You with cymbals and strings
And we sing out with grateful hearts
To proclaim what a merciful God!
We’re overwhelmed by what You’ve done

You’re Holy, Righteous and Patient
And You have loved all nations
Yes, You have brought salvation
Because You loved us first
And now we give You glory
As we tell the story
Of how You came to earth
Because You loved us first

Verse 2
Our hope is not based on luck or chance
No, it’s found in Your faithfulness
Now we cling to Your kindness
And the wonder of Your cross
Til You return for the church

We read Your Word again and again
We pray to You again and again
We serve each other again and again
We give to You again and again
Because You loved us first

Psalm 33: The Steadfast Love of the LORD (ESV)

Shout for joy in the LORD, O you righteous!
Praise befits the upright.
Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre;
make melody to him with the harp of ten strings!

Sing to him a new song;
play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.
For the word of the LORD is upright,
and all his work is done in faithfulness.
He loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD.

By the word of the LORD the heavens were made,
and by the breath of his mouth all their host.
He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap;
he puts the deeps in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the LORD;
let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
For he spoke, and it came to be;
he commanded, and it stood firm.

The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
he frustrates the plans of the peoples.
The counsel of the LORD stands forever,
the plans of his heart to all generations.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!

The LORD looks down from heaven;
he sees all the children of man;
from where he sits enthroned he looks out
on all the inhabitants of the earth,
he who fashions the hearts of them all
and observes all their deeds.

The king is not saved by his great army;
a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.
The war horse is a false hope for salvation,
and by its great might it cannot rescue.
Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love,
that he may deliver their soul from death
and keep them alive in famine.

Our soul waits for the LORD;
he is our help and our shield.
For our heart is glad in him,
because we trust in his holy name.
Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us,
even as we hope in you.
